| Description | Raj is dedicated to Ward 1, and working hard to improve our community. Raj understands the struggles working parents face to raise their families. Raj recognizes the needs of small business owners and knows what employers look for to invest in towns such as ours. It’s time to put someone on Council who will stand up for Bradford, not the developers. On October 25, 2010, vote for Raj Sandhu, he’s on your side! |

Del Crake - Ward 2 Candidates - Bradford Times - Ontario, CA
Two years ago, Councillor Del Crake decided he would not seek re-election; 3 terms in office were enough.
But situations change. "Whether it's me running alone, or someone else, I don't think it's fair for anyone to get in by acclamation,"says the retired OPP officer.
Crake is running for Councillor in Ward 2 - and despite his initial reluctance, he sees plenty of issues on the table, and exciting times ahead for the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury. -
Angela Wright, Candidate for Councillor - Ward 1 - Bradford Times - Ontario, CA
Wright has never let her condition dictate what she can and can't do. A member of the Board of Directors for the Harbour Channel Co-op, treasurer of the Toronto FM Communication Society, a member of the Board of Governors for the Canadian Electric Wheelchair Hockey Association, a member of the BWG Accessibility Advisory committee, a volunteer and a business woman self-employed in the IT sector for the past 16 years, she has now turned to municipal politics, and registered as a candidate for Councillor in Ward 1.
"It's been an interest. I just never really had the motivation," Angie says, "but I feel that people are a little more receptive (to the idea of a person with a disability running for office). It might be 'prime time'."
A resident of Bradford since 2003, she sees a number of issues in the coming election. Transportation is number 1, but also the rapid growth that threatens to overwhelm the character of the municipality.
